The English Club, the official student organization of the English Language Center (ELC), organized a workshop dubbed as "Stop Saying I WISH: Start Saying I WILL: Ways to Improve English Language" held at F-137, ELC Building, on 6th February 2018.
Foundation Program Academic Achievers from Level 4 Noor Alhuda Alshibli and Hamdah Almazroui served as the workshop speakers. They talked about their own experience in learning the English language. Moreover, they discussed current and useful ways to improve one’s English language proficiency. Majority of the participants were from Level 1, the target participants of the workshop. However, some students from level 4 and Post- Foundation also attended as they showed willingness to enrich their English language proficiency.
The event was conducted to encourage and provide students with different and useful ways to improve their English language proficiency. Additionally, it served as an opportunity for student presenters to develop vital skills that enable them to speak with confidence in public and conduct workshops.
