English Club (EC), the official student organization of the Preparatory Studies Center (PSC) conducted an ‘Open Day’ to welcome new students on 11th of March 2024, held at the 1st floor lobby of the PSC Building. 

Various activities were conducted during the said event. Club members put up three tables which served as an ‘Inquiry Desk’. Two gaming rooms were also set-up which offered both physical and electronic games. Gifts such as discount coupons from coffee shops, restaurants and spas were also given to participants. 

Around 100 students participated. Many expressed their appreciation of the event. The timing was even extended from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM. A video clip of heads, teachers and staff welcoming students was played at the beginning of the event. 

‘Open Day’ was organized to further educate students about the rules and regulations in PSC; distribute hand-outs familiarizing students on Oman Vision 2040; and welcome the holy month of Ramadan.  

EC is currently headed by Bayan Talib Al- Hosani under the supervision of Mr. Saif Said Al- Dhahli.
