The English Language Center (ELC) conducted series of webinars focusing on the use of different Microsoft applications which can be used by teachers in their online classes.

Mr Ossama Mustafa lead the training. He demonstrated how to share materials with students and how add moodle or any other application.  He provided an interactive session on how to use MS Forms to prepare online tests and quizzes.  He also demonstrated how to use MS Stream for educational purposes on September 9 and 17, 2020.

He also held ‘How to Make Interactive, Engaging, and Collaborative Online Lessons’ webinar which aimed to help lecturers build and deliver interactive and appealing instructional content right from their slideshows, on November 19 and 30, 2020.

The former training sessions were delivered online and held at the Open Lab observing social distancing rules while the latter was solely conducted through MS Teams.

The events were attended by all ELC staff and was organized by the Staff Professional Development Team (SPDT) under the Center’s Staff Support Committee.
