The Information Technology Department hosted a webinar on campus, titled "Words Matter: Effective Language Communication in Building Strong Classroom Management" on 14th November 2023

The purpose of this workshop was to highlight the impact of language in the educational setting. Recognizing the influential role words play in shaping student experiences, the workshop aimed to empower educators with the tools needed to communicate effectively, set positive expectations, and establish strong student-teacher relationships. Dr.Hani Abbas Mohammed Al-Balushi ,ELC Lecturer at UTAS- Shinas , served as a speaker during the event.

Thirty-Four staff members from the IT, Math, Networking and ELC sections attended the workshop.

The IT Staff Professional Development Committee (SPDC) organized and facilitated the workshop.
