The Information Technology (IT) Department hosted a webinar titled "The Art of Questioning- Elevating Critical Thinking through Bloom's Taxonomy-Aligned Assessments" on 12th March 2024, via Microsoft Teams.

This webinar aimed to provide participants with a thorough understanding of Bloom's Taxonomy and its cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains. Learn how to craft questions that are SMART—specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound.

Dr. Joefrelin Ines, faculty member from UTAS – Musandam, department of Business served as a featured resource speaker during the webinar. Dr. Joefrelin emphasized the importance of fostering diverse perspectives and open-minded discussions to cultivate critical thinking among students. Forty-Three (43) staff members from the IT, Math and Networking sections attended the workshop. The IT Staff Professional Development Committee (SPDC) organized and facilitated the workshop.
