The Information Technology Department Alumni Committee hosted an online talk on "Personal Branding for Career Development" last December 25, 2023, via MS Teams. Led by IT lecturers Mr. Gregory Danguilan and Glorigem Bendanillo Mangin, participants gained knowledge in creating and nurturing their personal brand to benefit their career.  The workshop focused on actionable steps to establish a compelling online presence. Attendees learned to leverage various platforms to showcase their skills and attract potential employers. Emphasis was placed on crafting standout LinkedIn profiles and utilizing online spaces strategically.Key takeaways included understanding how a strong personal brand enhances job-seeking efforts. Participants gained insights into capturing recruiters' attention by presenting a unique blend of skills and achievements in a competitive job market.The event's success was evident in active participation and positive feedback, underscoring the IT Alumni Committee's commitment to empowering its members.
