The Information Technology Department (ITD) Alumni Committee organized a short term training program entitled “Android Programming for Beginners” on 11^th, 13^th and 15^th November 2018, at A139 and A218, Shinas College of Technology, Main Building.

A total of 28 participants registered for the training program and 12 attended all the training sections.

Mr. Syed Ibrahim Hussain, IT Section lecturer, served as the resource speaker.

The training focused on developing Android apps. It covered the very basics of the Android Software Development Kit (SDK) and how to use it with Eclipse. 

The training session ended with the distribution of certificates by IT Head of Section (HoS) Ms. Amna Al-Kaabi.

This training is the second of the three (3) short-term trainings offered by Alumni Committee for the 2^nd Semester, Academic Year 2018-2019.
