BSD-CSC conducts Community Service Workshop
The Community Service Committee (CSC) of the Business Studies Department (BSD) initiated a seminar-workshop on “Strategies and Technologies” held at the Multipurpose Hall, Shinas College of Technology (ShCT), on March 20, 2018.
BSD lecturer Dr. Cirilo E. Mirano, Jr., was tapped as resource speaker.
Students from ShCT and other Colleges of Technology (COT’s), as well as students from Buraimi University and working professionals attended the workshop which was intented to assist current and prospective entrepreneurs, business owners and business enthusiasts.
The seminar workshop emphasized strategy formulation processes, generic starategies and its related technology, which serve as a critical factor in the sustainability of the competitive advantage of a business venture.
Moreover, customer intimacy, another contemporary strategy and a source of competitive advantage, were also introduced and its related technology-driven customer service.
