University of Technology and Applied Sciences-Shinas (UTAS-Shinas) hosts the Employment Assessment Examination conducted by MENA HR Solutions Oman, for VALE and Sohar Aluminum respectively. Ms. Ruya Al Rawahi leads the MENA HRS team while, the UTAS-Shinas administration and Educational Technology Center provides the facilities and technical support. 

The examination is to be conducted in four sessions this month. Two examination sessions were already completed on 3 and 4 December 2020 and remaining two examinations were scheduled for 11 and 12 December 2020.  About 210 applicants for VALE and 239 applicants for Sohar Aluminum are expected to take the examination. The examination is conducted as online assessment and personal interviews. The examinees were clustered into different batches from 8AM-4PM. UTAS-Shinas has made all the Health and Safety arrangements to ensure all pandemic related safety regulations in place for the examination and interviews.
