To honor women on their special day, the Staff Support Committee (SSC) of the English Language Center (ELC) surprised all female lecturers in the Center during the International Women’s Day by giving flowers and sweets on March 8, 2015.

As quoted from the SSC Coordinator, Mr. Saif Salim Al Washahi’s message, “Women are cute daughters, sweet sisters, lovely lovers, darling wives, adorable mothers, great teachers, and source of strength.”

The committee’s gesture of appreciation came from the collaborative idea of the English Group adviser and Socialization Team Leader of SSC, Mr. Karim Hanefioui and Mr. Hamed Al Qasmi, respectively. The idea was supported by the SSC Coordinator, Mr. Saif Salim Al Washahi.

Said effort made all the female lecturers feel extra special on that day.
