The Engineering Department, in coordination with the OJT department, arranged a visit to the Barka Power Plant for B. Tech Electrical Power students. Fourteen students, studying the course Power Stations with their course lecturer Mr. Satyanarayan Mishra, attended this visit on 26 March, 2015.

Mr. Mazin (Process Engineer) lead the team of students and gave an excellent PowerPoint presentation regarding the phase I, SMN, Barka Power Project.

The enthusiastic students asked many questions related to the Power Station and its associated desalination plant.

Finally the trip ended after taking a touraround the plant.
