The Staff Professional Development Committee in Engineering organized a seminar entitled (Training of the Scribes), on Tuesday, Oct 27th, 2015 in the Multipurpose Hall. (Engineering Department).

Mr. Aldrin L. Apolonio, from the English Language Centre (ELC), presented the seminar.

The seminar started at. 09:30 AM in MPH, with a welcoming and introduction speech by Dr.Yassir Osman (SPDC-Engineering coordinator).

Mr. Apolonio started the seminar by defining scribes. He explained how to write leading news headlines and the article body.

The audience expressed appreciation for this valuable seminar, which should enhance their knowledge and train them to write news in a professional manner.

The program ended around 11:00 AM.
