ShCT student Yaqoob Ali Salim Al-Khanbashi has obtained an ‘Electrical Connections Work License’ which was issued by Majan Electricity Company (SAOC).

Yaqoob is currently enrolled as a second year Diploma in Electrical Engineering student.

The student successfully passed an exam on ‘electrical licensing’ which was conducted by Majan Electricity Company in September.

Yaqoob is now authorized by Majan Electricity Board to certify new electrical connections for buildings and establishments. Once certification is done, electrical installations and wiring will be done by Majan Electricity Company, then a routine inspection will be conducted by the ‘electrical connections license’ holder.

Yaqoob’s license is valid for five years starting from September 2017.
