The Engineering Department, in coordination with the OJT Department of ShCT, arranged an industrial visit for the Civil Engineering faculty to Sohar Port and Freezone on  January 14,  2016.    

HOS of Civil Engineering Section Dr. Mahmoud Khazalah, along with Civil Engineering lecturers Mr. C. P. Shunmuganathan, Mr. Mohammed Hakim, Mr. Santosh Khasage, Ms. Indumathy and Mr. Praveen attended the visit.

The objective of the visit was to provide exposure to the ongoing projects and various management services meeting international standards to the faculty

The Group Executive Technical Manager, Mr. Huub van Rossum, explained the development, construction, management, and operation system of the port.
