The Business Studies Department (BSD), through the Department’s Community Service Committee, initiated a seminar/workshop  on “Industry Attractiveness Analysis” conducted by Dr. Cirilo E. Mirano, Jr. held at Multi-Purpose Hall, Engineering Building, on May 8, 2018. 

Said workshop was attended by Sohar University students, Sultan Qaboos University alumni, Ajman University in UAE representatives, working professionals, business owners and enthusiasts.

The seminar/workshop emphasized general business environment and the competitive environment analysis and determination of its impact on the business.

To apply the analytical tool presented in the workshop, basic case was presented for analysis.
