DBA alumnus talks on ‘Balancing Act: Juggling with Academics, Self-Care’
Mr. Tariq Mohammed Said Al Mamari, Department of Business Administration (BDA) alumnus and faculty at Shinas Vocational College, was invited to motivate students and share his experiences through a talk entitled ‘Balancing Act: Juggling with Academics, Self-Care’ on March 20, 2024, at D-001, UTAS-Shinas Campus.
With vast experience of working with students and community, along with having the hands on experience of dealing with various academic demands during the phase of student life, Mr.Tariq pointed the need for regulating and maintaining self-discipline and self-care which undoubtedly impact students’ academic performance.
Throughout the session, the students were encouraged to reflect on their experiences and challenges faced when it comes to managing self-care and academic responsibilities simultaneously, in a fruitful way.
At the session, Dr.Sibi John extended his sincere gratitude and presented a token of appreciation to the resource person.
