The Information Technology-Shinas (ITS) Club held its first annual year-end party at the Multi-Purpose Hall, on June 18, 2019.

The event aimed at acknowledging the club officers and members’ efforts in serving the IT studentry.

The occasion began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Qu’ran by Majid Mohammed Al Maqbali. Ahmed Al Saidi rendered a song number, while Yousuf Al Mazrouie delivered a poem and presented the activities conducted this academic year.

Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs Dr. Ahmed Al Shahri gave an inspiring message to the club officers and members, while Mathematics Head of Section Mr. Deogracias Joaquin extended his gratitude for their usual support and cooperation.

During the event, certificates of appreciation were awarded to all the ITS officers and members.

Students Jawaher Ahmed Al-Mamari, Manal Said Al-Senani, and Sheikha Hassan Al Zaabi received certificates of recognition as the Student Teach Student Program tutors.

“Joining the club helped me in honing my communication, leadership, teamwork and management skills”, said Manal Said Al Senani, ITS Club President.

IT Head Ms. Amina Al-Jabri congratulated the officers and members for a fruitful and productive year, and for taking the initiative in helping their fellow students.
