The Information Technology (IT) Department held its year-end party at the Multi-Purpose Hall, Engineering Building, on December 19, 2019.

IT Head Ms. Amina Al Jabri expressed her gratitude and commended the IT staff for all their hard work and efforts exerted in the past academic year.

During the program, Math Quiz Bee 2019 winners were awarded with certificates and tokens. Certificates were also given to staff who served as organizers of SITAM 2019, coaches of Huawei Competition 2019, supervisors of course projects selected for Abu Dhabi, Sultan Qaboos University and Higher College of Technology conferences, and the IT lecturers who successfully passed the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Routing and Switching- Introduction to Networks.

The event also served as the department’s celebration of cultural day as the staff wore their traditional clothes, sang songs in their native languages, and shared their local sweets.

The party culminated with lunch shared by the staff and students.
