IT Department conducts Community Engagement Workshops
As part of the Community Engagement Program of the College for Academic Year 2017-2018, Information Technology (IT) Department started to offer IT-related workshops for the community on January 28, 2018 to April 25, 2018.
The Department prepared four different trainings to be offered to the community, namely, 2016 IT Basic Computer Literacy which includes MS Word, MS. Excel, MS PowerPoint and Internet, Android Programming, Computer Hardware and SPSS.
Mr. Justin Rajasekaran conducted the first training on 2016 IT Basic Computer Literacy which includes MS Word, MS. Excel, MS PowerPoint and Internet. It was participated and completed by seven participants who were given certificates of completion.
Android Programming is currently on-going and is being conducted by Mr. Syed Ibrahim and Myra Patalay. A total of 48 trainees participated in the said workshop. It started on February 18 and will end on February 28, 2018.
Computer Hardware and SPSS training will start on March 18, 2018 and April 15, 2018 respectively.
