Educational Technologies Center (ETC)’s Staff Development Committee spearheaded a workshop on implementation and configuration of Linux Servers, at A-138, on April 18-19, 2018.

Software Development Team member/ technician Mr. Dennis John Gonzales was tapped as speaker for the said event which was attended by technicians from different sections of ETC.

Topics covered were Basic Linux scripting and commands, Linux administration, security and user management using the Linux shell and practical demonstration of Linux to windows communication.

Practical demonstrations were also performed by the attendees.

Apart from sharing technical knowledge and skills, ETC staff and the Center in general, will continue to provide necessary development programs that will help maximize the utilization of technology and educational resources of the college.
