The English Group of Shinas College of Technology organized a speaking workshop for students held at the VIP Lounge on December 2, 2012. The workshop aimed to improve students’ speaking skills and to train them to create solutions for their problems in speaking.

The speakers of the workshop were Mr. Muneer Al Hadrami, Mr. Mohammed Al Hadrami and Mr. Abdullah Al Rawahi, who are all from the English Language Centre of Sultan Qaboos University. The distinct styles and techniques used by the speakers captured the attention of the audience and made them participate actively. The speakers’ ideas and experiences about issues and context of speaking were also expressed.

The students have exemplified their interest through their active involvement in the activities and have also imbued a positive impression towards speaking.
