ShCT Research committee conducts workshop on Writing Research Proposal
The ShCT Staff Research and Consultancy Committee conducted a workshop entitled “Developing a Successful Research Proposal” on the 9th of January, 2019 at the Main Building, Rooms A-229 & A-230.
University of Nizwa’s Acting Dean of Research, Dr. Ahmed Al Shukaili served as the resource speaker while Dr. Ahmed Al Balushi, Chair of the Staff Research and Consultancy Committee, presided over the workshop. Dr. Shukaili discussed the following topics: Ethical Guidelines for Research and Publications, General Contents of a Research Proposal, Significance of the Research Problem, Hypotheses, Goals and Research Objectives, Research Methodology and Literature Survey Research on Budget and Social/Economic Impact.
The said workshop, which was attended by 35 ShCT staff from the different departments, served as a platform for them to improve their research ideas to make a successful research proposal.
