The Engineering Club, the official student organization of the Engineering Department (ED), spearheaded by the Civil Section of the Department, conducted a short term training on ‘Non- Destructive Test (NDT) on Hardened Concrete’ on 27th November 2018, held at B-014, Engineering Building.

ED Civil Section lecturers Mr. Prakash Kandasamy and Mr. Umar Sabhapathy were the speakers.

Various test for Non-destructive test are explained and some methods were demonstrated to the students.

The workshop involved the students to do the Rebound hammer test and test the strength of old hardened concrete.
