A group of 21 Electrical Engineering students from Diploma level accompanied by Mr. Y. Ameer Hamza, Electrical Section lecturer, visited URICH Switchgear Manufacturing Company LLC, Suhar, on October 4, 2018.

The industrial visit was organized by Engineering Department in coordination with Shinas College of Tecnology (ShCT)’s On-the-job Training (OJT) Department.

The visit aimed to acquaint the students on Power system protection and switchgear.

The company’s Operation Manager, Mr. Vithal Manohar, gave vital information to the students about switchgear and protection, starting from design, assembly of low voltage switchgear and its testing.
