The Engineering Department (ED) held a year-end gathering at the Theatre, Engineering Building, on July 7, 2020.

ED Head Dr. Ahmed Al Balushi commenced the activity by welcoming everyone and expressing his gratitude to his team for their hard work, commitment and contributions to the Department.

Lecturers Mr. Kandasamy Asohan and Dr. Baskar Gopalan, who are both leaving the College, were honored with mementos and certificates of appreciation. Dr. Ahmed thanked them for their contributions and services rendered all through the years.

After that, he awarded all the resource speakers for the online courses and webinars conducted by the Department with certificates of appreciation. They were: Dr. Joseph Sekhar, Dr. Binumol Shahulhameed, Mr. Arun Gopinath, Dr. Senthil Ramadoss, Dr. Seku Kondaiah, Mr. Krishna Kumar and Dr. Baskar Gopalan.

The ED-Staff Support Services Committee, headed by Mr. Santosh Khasge, organized the said event. He also thanked the other ED staff who participated in the gathering via the Microsoft Teams application.
