The Engineering Department (ED) held an online workshop on “Aligning Existing Course Learning Outcomes with OQF Level Descriptors for Mechanical and Civil Engineering Specialization Courses” on July 1 & 2, 2020.

Shinas College of Technology Oman Qualifications Framework (OQF) panel members Mr. Arun Gopinath and Mr. Murali Krishna Boddu, the resource speakers, facilitated the workshop using the MS Teams application.

Mr. Arun shed light on OQF and the Qualification System, OQF key stakeholders, pathways and level descriptors, and course learning outcome development.

On the other hand, Mr. Murali elucidated the various case studies related to the alignment of the course learning outcomes as per the OQF level descriptors.

The said event was attended by the ED Mechanical and Civil Section Diploma and Advanced Diploma Course Coordinators.
