The Engineering Department (ED) held a lecture on “Opportunities in Solar Energy” for 42 Electrical Engineering students on November 26, 2019 at Room B-013, Main Building.

Mr. Dheeraj Deshpande, Energy Domain Expert of Foster Consultants, the guest lecturer, elucidated the various solar energy opportunities and types of implementations that can be applied in the Sultanate of Oman.

He also highlighted the research facilities available in the solar energy implementation process.

ED Head Dr. Ahmed Al Balushi expressed his gratitude to the speaker and awarded him with a certificate of appreciation.
