The Engineering Department (ED) celebrated “Cultural Day” at the Multi-Purpose Hall, on April 25, 2019.

Organized by ED-Social Activity Club, the event showcased cultural diversity through food, music and dance.

The program commenced with ED Head Dr. Ahmed Al Balushi welcoming the ED faculty and staff.

Dr. Ahmed expressed his gratitude to the organizers for coming up with this event, which allowed teachers to work together in unity and harmony.

The faculty members were then welcomed to sample the variety of cuisines prepared by different competing groups, followed by traditional dances and songs performed by some of the lecturers.  

At the end of the event, the Indian cuisine was voted as the ‘best cuisine’ and prizes were awarded to the winners by Electrical Section Head Mr. Basavaiah Kalyan Kumar.
