EC organizes short term course for Mechanical Engineering studs
The Engineering Club (EC), the official student organization of the Engineering Department, conducted a short term course on ‘Non Destructive Testing (NDT)’ for Diploma in Mechanical Engineering students on 6th and 12th of November 2018 from 12:00 to 2:00 PM, held at B003A and B003, Mechanical Workshop, Engineering Building.
Mr. Srinivasa Daya Prasad, Mechanical Section lecturer, served as the resource speaker.
The session gave awareness to the students about the various NDT techniques like penetration testing and radiographic testing.
The job opportunities for engineers in this field was explained with application in aircraft inspection, storage tank inspection and oil and gas industries.
