The Engineering Club (EC), the official student organization of the Engineering Department (ED), together with the Department’s Civil Section conducted a short term training on ‘Quality Test on Fresh Concrete on 13^th November 2018, at B-014, Engineering Building.

ED lecturers Mr. Umar Sabhapathy and Mr. Prakash were the speakers. Together, they provided awareness to the students about the quality standards of fresh concrete.

Various factors affecting the workability and the methods needed to improve the workability without affecting the strength of concrete were demonstrated.

The workshop involved the students to the field test on workability of fresh concrete.
