Students of Diploma in Civil Engineering of Shinas College of Technology visited the construction site of Sultan Qaboos Mosque at Shinas on Sept. 26, 2017.

The visit aimed to acquaint the students on the execution of construction work as well as construction techniques applied in building a mosque.

The Civil Engineering Students got good exposure on the modern methods used in the construction field.

Mr. Vijay, Site Engineer of Daewoo Contracting Company LLC, gave a detailed explanation on scaffolding work for fall ceiling and flooring, importance of curing of concrete, and Doka Shuttering techniques.

Project in-charge Mr. Adil shed light on the safety measures to be followed during the visit.
