The Civil Engineering (CE) Section of Shinas College of Technology organized a seminar on “Applications of White Cement” at the Amphitheater on Nov 21, 2017.

Mr. Tamim Emad Youssef, Sales Manager of J.K. Cement Works, Dubai, served as resource speaker in the event.

ED In-charge Dr. Mahmoud Khazalah welcomed the participants.

Mr. Tamim explained the applications of White Cement in construction projects such as precast concrete, glass fibre reinforced concrete, tile adhesives, grouts, etc.

During the presentation, Mr. Tamim had an active interaction with the Diploma, Advanced Diploma, and Bachelor of Technology students.

Meanwhile, Dr. Mahmoud Khazalah recommended six students who will do a project at J.K. Cement Works.

He also promised to accompany the female students this coming semester while doing academic projects at J. K. Cement works.
