The Higher College of Technology (HCT) monitoring team members Dr. Yousuf Al-Mabasali, Dr. Yousuf Al-Bulushi and Dr. Moshin Aziz visited the Business Studies Department (BSD), on April 18, 2019.

The visit aimed at inspecting the implementation of Bachelor of Technology programs and ensuring that the same quality and standard of education is maintained by all Colleges of Technology (COTS), in accordance with the Ministerial Decision (218/10).

During the visit, BSD lecturer Dr. Riyas Kalathinkal briefed the team on the department’s physical resources and student and staff profile.

Dr. F. Mohammed Sabura presented the course materials, lecture and exam coverage, and assessments, while Ms. Farhana Sultana dicussed the pattern of questions, moderation procedures and a sample of marked papers.

Ms. Radouch Amel explained the graduation and senior guidelines and assessments, whereas Dr. Shanmuga Pria presented the staff and student course book.

BSD expressed their gratitude to the monitoring team for the visit.
