Shinas College of Technology (ShCT) conducted a workshop on ‘Strategic Planning’ held at the Amphitheatre, on April 21, 2019.

Attended by a number of staff, students, industry, community and alumni representatives, the workshop aimed at developing the Objectives and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for its Strategic Plan (SP) Academic Year 2019-2024.

During the workshop, College Dean Dr. Ahmed Al Mamari provided a brief presentation of ShCT’s achievements in the previous SP, progress in the Oman Academic Accreditation Authority (OAAA) stage-1 Quality Audit findings and SWOT Analysis report.

Quality Assurance (QA) Head Ms. Maryam Al Aufi discussed the processes involved in developing the objectives and KPIs.

The participants were then grouped into five to work on the various goals based on SP’s approved elements.

The workshop ended with a brief feedback session for all the teams.
