HR Department Services
- Recruitment & Selection through coordinating with the centers and departments to identify their needs for human resources, the qualifications and experience required, and to take the necessary actions. The staff recruitment for academic staff takes place mainly through two channels i.e. direct recruitment by the MoMP and through the five recruiting companies.
- Induction program for newly joining staff member on the overall services of HR.
- Training & Development Programs to enhance the academic and administrative level of the personnel in coordination with the concerned authority at the college and the ministry.
- Staff Appraisal and Evaluating Performance in coordination with all centers, departments and professionals in setting up a plan for staff appraisal and taking the adequate actions after analyzing the results of the appraisal.
- Staff Leaves: emergency, annual (internal staff balance), compensation for working during the official holidays and weekend, sick leave, maternity (for female staff), accompanying patients inside/outside Oman (only of MoMP staff), Haj ‘Pilgrimage’ leave (for Muslim staff only), scholarship study (Omani MoMP staff only), examination for third secondary diploma (Omani MoMP staff only), Non-Salaried Special Leave (only of MoMP staff) & participation on activities (in/out side Oman).
- Organizing the attendance records of personnel.
- Employment Visas: for MoMP Expatriate Staff: joining & resident family, visit visa, & visa cancelation.
- Issuing Cards: Resident & Free Medical (for MoMP Expatriate Staff)
- Issuing Certification: work experience certificate, salary certification (for MoMP staff), No Objection, clearance certificate.
- Ticket Compensation (for MoMP Expatriate Staff).
- Issuing Certificates (for MoMP staff): Salary Certificate, Work Experience (include the agencies staff)
- Resignation/End of Services, Transfer, & Transition to retirement or separation.
