ELC lecturer Mr. Waleed Abu Mandour was recently certified as a Google for Education Trainer.

In a letter sent by Google for Education Program Manager Mr. David Chen, Mr. Mandour was commended for the feat that enabled him to inspire and train educators in using Google tools.

“We wanted to recognize your achievement in supporting teacher professional growth,” Mr. Chen wrote in the commendation letter.

“Certified Trainers develop mentorship mindsets and coaching practices that will help educators redefine teaching and learning with technology,” Mr. Chen added.

As a Google for Education Certified Trainer, Mr. Mandour possesses “the skills to support, plan, and implement professional development” for educators, particularly on the use of Google tools.
