Five Ibri College of Technology (IbCT) Engineering faculty members visited Shinas College of Technology (ShCT) for benchmarking on February 2, 2017.

The IbCT guests headed by Dr. K. Elangovan, Head of Section of IbCT Mechanical Engineering, were welcomed by ShCT’s Engineering Department HOD In-Charge Dr. Mahmoud Khazalah, together with the HoSs of Electrical and Mechanical Sections, the Benchmarking Committee and Quality Assurance (QA) members.

The two teams discussed assessment practices, grading procedures, practices and experiences regarding On-The-Job Training and industrial visits.

In addition, the discussion also included exchange of information on graduate placement procedures, quality of graduates, and progress made regarding student projects and academic research.

The visit concluded with a site tour of Engineering laboratories and workshops.
