Students of Bachelor of Technology-Civil Engineering visited the construction site of Sultan Qaboos Mosque at Shinas on January 17, 2017.

The visit aimed to acquaint the students on the execution and construction techniques applied in constructing the Mosque.

The students were able to observe and understand the methods used in the process.

Mr. Vijay, Site Engineer of Daewoo Contracting Company LLC, gave a detailed explanation on Dome roof shuttering; whereas, Project in-charge Mr. Adil shed light on the safety measures to be followed during the visit.

This visit was organized by the Engineering Department in coordination with the OJT Department of the college.
