BTech students visit Stomo Power Plant
A group of Bachelor in Technology major in Electrical Engineering students visited Stomo Power Plant, Sohar Port on March 14, 2017.
Stomo’s Training Manager Mr. Hariharan and Engr. Mohammed Ali Mohammed Al Balushi welcomed the group.
They explained the operations and safety procedures followed in the company.
During the visit, students observed the operation of steam and gas turbines as well as the desalination process.
Engineering lecturer Mr. Murali Krishna Boddu accompanied the students.
In coordination with ShCT’s OJT Department, the Engineering Department organized the visit.
