A team from Shinas College of Technology (ShCT) will visit the International Maritime College of Oman (IMCO) on February 21, 2017 as agreed upon in a meeting held at the ELC HOC’s Office on February 14, 2017.

The benchmarking initiative shall focus on the following: curriculum review, assessment, placement test (Entry & Exit Standards), staff professional development, student learning support, staff profile, and recruitment.

The ShCT Team will be led by ELC Head Mr. Ali Abdullah Al Balushi, Information Department Head Ms.  Amina Salim Mohd Al-Jabri, and Quality Assurance Head  Dr. Syed Sulaiman Hussaini.

During the benchmarking visit, the ShCT team will present each sub-scope for 5-7 minutes by highlighting the most significant aspects. In return, IMCO will also present its best practices.
