Outward Bound Oman Inspires UTAS Shinas Students to Explore Boundless Learning
In a dynamic session hosted by the English Club at the University of Technology and Applied Sciences, Shinas, students attended an orientation session presented by Mr. Mohammed Al Shibli, a representative from Outward Bound Oman. The orientation session, held on 26th November 2023 at the ELC building, aimed to shed light on the mission, objectives, and educational impact of Outward Bound Oman in the Sultanate.
Dr. Darwish Al-Kalbani, Deputy Assistant Vice-Chancellor for Research, Higher Studies, and Innovation, and Ms. Amal Al-Jahwari, Head of the Preparatory Study Centre, participated in the event, joining English lecturers from the Preparatory Study Centre. The trainer shared insights into Outward Bound Oman's mission, objectives and its significant role in shaping education across Oman. The event not only provided students with a unique perspective on learning but also offered an opportunity for academic leaders and faculty members to engage with the innovative approaches advocated by Outward Bound Oman.
