Empowering Educators with AI Tools, Workshop by ELC

The English Language Centre of the University of Technology and Applied Sciences, Shinas, recently hosted a workshop entitled ‘Empowering Educators with AI Tools’ presented by ELC lecturer, Dr. Hani Al Balushi. The enlightening workshop, held on 26th October 2023, aimed to provide English lecturers with valuable insights into the potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools in education, with a particular focus on Chat GPT.Dr. Hani Al Balushi commenced by providing a comprehensive overview of AI and its significance in education. He showcased real-world examples of AI applications in different educational domains, illustrating how AI can revolutionize personalized learning, content creation, and student assessment. The workshop delved into the realm of AI-powered teaching assistants, demonstrating how these tools can streamline the teaching process.
