The Counseling and Graduate Follow-up Department, organized an exhibition called "Mutanaffis"

Under the patronage of the Assistant Vice President of the University of Technology and Applied Sciences-Shinas, Dr. Ahmed Al-Balushi, the Student Counseling Group, in collaboration with the Counseling and Graduate Follow-up Department, organized an exhibition called "Mutanaffis" (which translates to "Breathing Space") on Wednesday, October 18th, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, coinciding with World Mental Health Day. The exhibition was attended by more than 100 male and female students.The International Day for Mental Health provided an opportunity for individuals and society to familiarize themselves with the measures that promote and protect mental health for everyone, considering it a universal human right. The theme chosen for this year was "Mental Health: A Universal Right of Human Rights."The exhibition included several corners:1. "Express Your Feelings Corner": A corner where students expressed their feelings and released their energy through drawing.2. "Know Yourself Better Corner": A corner for personality analysis and understanding one's own patterns. This corner helped students identify their personality types, enabling them to develop themselves and understand the appropriate way to interact with others.3. "Good Companion in Time: Books Corner": A collection of psychology and self-development books that helped students develop themselves, build their personalities, and broaden their horizons.4. "Psychological Clinic Corner": A corner with a group of specialists in the field of psychiatry. The specialists provided psychological consultations and gave an overview of mental illnesses, their symptoms, treatment methods, and prevention.5. "Change Your Thinking Pattern Corner": A corner where students explained the relationship between mental health and studying, and provided tips and methods to help students enjoy good mental health.6. "Youth Psychology Corner": An Omani youth institution that focuses on enhancing the psychological resilience of young people.At the end of the exhibition, the participating groups were thanked and given certificates of appreciation to acknowledge their efforts in organizing that wonderful exhibition.
